Spiritual Insight

While it is important to enjoy life, it is equally important to make responsible financial decisions that ensure our long-term stability and well-being. 

Allah Almighty states in the noble Quran at Surah Al Araf (7), Verses 31: 

‘O Children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess…’ 

This verse teaches us to enjoy the blessings of life without falling into the trap of overindulgence or wastefulness. By planning fun family outings that do not involve overspending, you are aligning your choices with the beautiful Islamic principle of moderation. 

It is recorded in Riyadh Al Saliheen, Hadith 516, that the holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 

‘Simplicity (in life) is a part of Faith; simplicity is a part of Faith…’ 

This hadith encourages us to find joy in simple and beneficial activities, and to focus on the quality of our interactions rather than on purely material concerns.
