Allah Almighty states in noble Quran at Surah Al-Ma’idah (5), Verse 4: 

‘They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, “Lawful for you are [all] good things…”’

A teen can find peace by realizing that a garment found in a marketplace is considered ‘pure’ and ‘good’ (Tayyib) by default. It is recorded in Sahih Muslim, Hadith 520, that holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that: 

 ‘The earth has been made a place of prayer and a means of purification for us.’ 

This teaches us the ‘Universality of Purity.’ If the very ground we walk on can be a place of prayer, then a garment that has been cleaned is certainly fit for use. A teen handles the fear of vintage clothes by remembering that the Best of Guardians has made the world a place of ease.
