Can Wise Compass help my child pause and ask ‘Would Allah Almighty be pleased with this?’

In the heat of the moment, it can be very difficult for a child to pause and reflect on their actions. Whether it is a disagreement with a friend or the urge to take the easy way out, impulsive decisions are a natural part of growing up. Wise Compass aims to give children the mental tools to create that vital space between a feeling and an action. We do this by normalising the habit of self-reflection through our Islamic stories for kids. We want the question ‘Would Allah Almighty be pleased with this?’ to become a gentle, guiding whisper in their hearts.

Our stories feature characters who navigate real-life challenges and demonstrate the power of pausing. By seeing a character in System Reboot take a moment to reset after a mistake, children learn that they too have the power to change their course. This faith-friendly story platform encourages Muslim parents to discuss these moments of choice with their children. We use the concept of Islah, or repair, to show that even if we falter, we can always pause and choose a better path next time. This values-based reading makes God-consciousness feel like a supportive tool rather than a looming threat. When children see that seeking Allah Almighty’s pleasure leads to inner peace and better relationships, they become more inclined to adopt this habit. Wise Compass helps turn a simple question into a powerful life skill, teaching children that their choices have weight and that they have the agency to choose goodness. This builds a strong, faith-centered identity that can withstand the pressures of the modern world.
