Can Wise Compass encourage simple, daily acts of charity as part of normal behaviour?

Many children see charity, or Sadaqah, as something that only happens during Ramadan or at the mosque. Wise Compass aims to integrate the spirit of giving into the fabric of their daily lives. As Muslim parents, we want our children to understand that a smile, a kind word, or helping a neighbour are all forms of charity that can be practised every single day. Our Islamic stories for kids show that the best deeds are those that are small but consistent, as taught by holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and mentioned in the noble Quran.

Our faith-friendly story platform features characters who find opportunities for kindness in the playground, the classroom, and at home. Through values-based reading, children see that Sadaqah is a mindset of being helpful and attentive to the needs of others. In stories like Learning in the Garden, the act of nurturing and giving back to nature is shown as a daily responsibility. We want children to feel that their regular small efforts are highly valued by Allah Almighty. By making charity a normal part of their narrative, we remove the idea that it is a ‘special event’ and replace it with a sense of purpose. Wise Compass provides the practical examples that help children see themselves as active contributors to their community. This builds their social-emotional learning and strengthens their identity. They learn that by making charity a habit, they are bringing constant Barakah into their lives and following the guidance of the noble Quran, which encourages us to be constant in our goodness and to seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty through every small act.
