Does Wise Compass teach the concept of amanah through Prophetic responsibility and trust?  

The concept of Amanah, or trust, is a cornerstone of Islamic ethics, and Wise Compass brings it to life through the responsible actions of the Prophets. We show that they viewed their mission, their families, and the environment as sacred trusts from Allah Almighty. This helps children understand that they, too, have responsibilities that they must handle with care and honesty. This is a practical lesson in accountability that applies to everything from schoolwork to caring for the planet.  

In Learning in the Garden, children see how taking care of growing things is an act of Amanah. We also highlight how holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known as Al-Amin (the Trustworthy) because of how he handled the property and secrets of others. This focus on character development helps children see that being trustworthy is a key part of their identity. By engaging with our values-based reading, they learn that fulfilling their promises and taking care of their responsibilities is a way to earn the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Wise Compass supports Muslim parenting by providing a shared vocabulary for discussing duty and trust. We help children grow into reliable and principled individuals who understand the weight of their words and the importance of their actions in the world.
