Allah Almighty states in the noble Quran at Surah Al Jumu’ah (62), Verse 10: 

‘ Then when the prayer has concluded, then dispersed on the Earth and seek the benefaction of Allah (Almighty); and remember Allah (Almighty) excessively so that you may be victorious.’ 

The Honour in Hard Work 

The prophetic tradition teaches that earning a livelihood through hard work, using the tools available to us, is a source of dignity and is far better than being dependent on others. 

It is recorded in Sunan Ibn Majah, 1836, that the holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 

‘It is better for one of you to take a rope and bring a bundle of firewood on his back and sell it than to beg from someone.’
